This spectacular Gokyo Valley via Renjo La Pass Trek is perfect for those with limited time who want to do a strenuous trek in spectacular scenery with marvellous views of Mount Everest. For those who want to stay off the beaten track it doesn’t visit Everest Base Camp, instead going over the beautiful Renjo La Pass, passing through Yak grazing settlements and past turquoise lakes. We ascend the Gokyo Peak (5480m) with magnificent views of Mount Everest (8848Mt), Cho Oyo (8153Mt) and Lohtse (8511M).

The short strenuous Gokyo Valley via Renjo La Pass Trek begins in the same way as the Everest Base camp trek, with a short 30 minute flight to Lukla, followed by two days trekking through colourful Sherpa homelands before arriving at the famous bustling market town of Namche Bazaar. You spend an important extra day acclimatizing here while exploring the town before beginning your ascent up to Gokyo and its amazing views through birch and rhododendron forests with the possibility of seeing charming and unusual musk deer.
