Manaslu Larke Pass and Annapurna Circuit Trek are one of the adventure treks in Nepal. During this trip, we also cross the Larkya La Pass (5,135m) which is the highest altitude on the Manaslu Trek and another pass is the Thorang La Pass(5,416m), which is the highest Pass on the Annapurna Circuit. Today you have full day in Kathmandu for city tour, Bhaktapur Dubar Squire, Pashupatinath, Monkey temple, We are going to issue your special permit.
After breakfast we drive to Soti Khola its takes about 7 hrs from Kathmandu.
After breakfast, we walk and follow a trail of constant ups and downs through the forest and bank of Budi Gandaki River. This trek goes along the beautiful village. Machha Khola Gaun is the meeting area of Machha Khola and Budhi Gandaki river and is very famous for fresh fish. You will have traditional foods in Machhakhola.
After having breakfast in Machhakhola we start our trek to Jagat. We walk on the bank of Budhi Gandaki River and pass one of the beautiful villages of Tatopani its a natural hot spring if we have time you have a chance for bathing . After the continuous walk on the riverbank of Budhi Gandaki, we reach Dobhan and the trails go continue to the north until we reach Jagat, We enjoy a spectacular campsite tonight just before the village of Jagat.
At the beginning of the day starts uphill to the rocky ridge to Salleri and descend to Sertibas. The valley takes you to the suspension bridge and climb up to Philim, which is big Gurung village. The trial continues to the north where we pass through small charming villages, the forest of tall pine trees, and bamboo as well.
This is one of the most epic sections of the journey. In most cases you will have to walk beside the Budhi Gandaki River, moreover, Namrung is situated next to the river. Walk around the eighth highest peak in the world with a height of 8153 meters Mount Manaslu is the main approach.
It is a culturally fascinating trip where you can indulge in the cultural exploration of primitive ethnic groups of the Manaslu region. The exceedingly assorted alpine vegetation, verdant forests, picturesque valleys, quaint villages, and astounding mountain views ornament the natural magnificence of the area. After a long and enchanting walk in the Manaslu conservation area, you will finally reach Namrung village.
Namrung is a great viewpoint for Siring and Ganesh Himal and from the village, We climb regularly and cross forests to reach Lihi, a beautiful village with many chortens and barley terraces. The walk to Samaguan was easy. The trip to Sama Gau is heightened when we reach there because it is a large Tibetan community and have the greatest opportunity to wonder views of Mt. Manaslu and Manaslu glacier, Nadi Chuli Peal, Naike Peak, and many more.
Today is the rest and acclimatization day. You can go to Birendra lake which is a beautiful lake. This lake is situated nearby Punhyen Glacier and Gompa in Samagaun, Gorkha at an altitude of 3,691meteres from sea level.
Today we are familiar with the rich Sherpa culture. We enjoy the view of thousands of mani stones with Buddhists text and images and Sherpa women dressed in traditional clothes and ornaments.
After the two-night stay at Sama Gaun, Having morning breakfast, we hike downwards to Budhi Gandaki Riveredge. On this trail, we can see a powerful large stream crashing on the rocky river bed. We can pass many Buddhist Mani Walls on this trail and climb up towards the beautiful village of Samdo. Today Excellent views of the peak of Manaslu. We soon reach the Tibetan Refugee village of Samdo, a wild place with a substantial village of some 200 permanent residents.
Today you will continue your trek walking down the edge, You will cross the wooden bridge over Budhi Gandaki and begin walking upward. Again cross the stream which runs down from the Gya La, another pass crossing into Tibet. You will pass another village here known as Larkya Baar nearing the Larke Glacier, you will reach Dewang(4470), which is known as Dharmashala, This place is also known as Larkya Phedi which means the "Foot of Larkya" and this is the place where the climb of Larkya La begins.
Today we start our journey early in the morning about 4 am. The trail upward is very gradual but at this altitude, we take our time. It takes us approximately 5 hours to reach the pass, with the last section becoming quite steep but it is well worth the effort.
When we reach the top of Larkey La Pass, we dismiss all our tiredness due to the witness of Mt. Annapurna II, Himlung, Cheo Himal, and Larkey Peak. after the trail descends to the Bimthang. The scenario of the trail is very nice but if there is snow it is very difficult to descend to Bimthang.
A small hamlet, Bhimtang on the Manang side with the amazing views of Mt. Manaslu, Lamjung, Cheu Himal, Himlung, etc. We will slowly reach Karche valley and then descend to Tilje.
After having breakfast our journey starts to Chame via Dharapani. The trail now basically follows the Marsyangdi downstream, before entering a pristine forest of pine and rhododendron which during the spring months puts on a brilliant display of color.
Our trail climbs through the alpine forest to Bagarchhap, the first village on this walk with typical Tibetan architecture. After a nice morning walk altitude gains slowly reaching the apple country at Dhanaqui, the trek passes farm areas, apple, and apricot orchards, and beautiful pine forest, after passing some villages we reach Chame.
The day starts through a deep forest in a steep and narrow valley, and crosses a river on a long bridge at 2910meters. We then cross another bridge at 3040meters, from there the view of the soaring Paungda Danda rock face really begins to appear. From there the trail joins to climb to Pisang, which sprawls between 3200m & 3300meters. Overnight at Tea House.
After breakfast in Pisang, we moved to the beautiful village of Manang which is the largest village in Manang. After pisang there is two options one is directly going to the Manang another route is the from upper pisang, from the lower pisang the way is flat on smooth terrain after few hours of walking we need to climb the little bit to Humde after that we have pretty way to Manang from there we can see Annapurna II, III, Iv, and Gannapurna.
Others route from the Upper way we need to climb the Ghyaru village this is a very beautiful route quite difficult but you will be surely enjoyed this hike, we can see a very panoramic view of the mountains jungle and a beautiful lake on the way,
Today you have an acclimatization day, you have a chance to visit a monastery and Gangapurna lake which is a very beautiful lake in Manang. You will find lots of things to dwell in Manang so you don’t need to stay idle. Acclimatization day in Manag will be treasured as one of the memorable days of the tour.
From Manang, we continue through alpine landscapes with high-altitude vegetation and forests. A gradual ascent takes us to Yak Kharka and then to our camp Leder.
After breakfast at Ledar, we start our trekking adventure at a high altitude. Walk slow and steady to save energy. The leader has a great view of the river valley and surrounding mountains. After crossing the river via a suspension bridge, we will pass by a rock fall zone where your guide will assist you to walk carefully. After passing the rocky zone you will get to a small village right at the bottom of the big rock, this is Phedi. After two hours of walking up from Phedi, you will get to High camp for Thorong La Pass. The high camp has only one tea house, so do not expect the best accommodation. Nature is in the leading role at this point and the rest has to be compromised.
This is the day when you will ascend to Throng La Pass in the early morning and it is to be found at an elevation of 5416m. When you reached the top of the Thorong La(5416m) after that you will descend to the Muktinath. Muktinath which is resting at an altitude of 3760m is known as one of the holy pilgrimages here you can redeem your sin.
Muktinath to Jomsom is an easy walk on the flat terrain. The deserted landscape passing through villages like Jharkot is beautiful. You will get pleasure from the eye-catching sceneries of Nilgiri Mountain. Visit the beautiful village of Jomsom.
We take the small and thrilling internal flight to Pokhara with a panoramic view of the Mountains, Enjoy your day in the beautiful city of Pokhara.
Note: If not fly from Jomsom to Pokhara because of the weather problem we need to drive to Pokhara by poor roads but does offer an insight into the amazing valley of the Kali Gandaki.It takes about 10 hrs.
Today after breakfast we will fly to Kathmandu from Pokhara, It takes about 20 to Kathmandu, If you wish to go by road it takes about 8 hrs..
Today your journey in Nepal will come to an end; unless you are staying longer in Kathmandu. The Himalayan trekking team will meet you, collect your luggage, and transport you to the airport.
