Arrival in Kathmandu International airport than transfer to your suggested hotel.
We travel to Besishahar from Kathmandu via private bus or tourist bus passing the Trishuli as well as Marsyangdi River. Overnight stay in Besishahar.
Ghale Gaun is approximately 18 km north west of Kathmandu and 10 km north east of Pokhara. Ghalegaun and Ghanpokhara are mainly Gurung settlements nestled amidst mountains, waterfalls, green forests, rivers and beautiful scenery. The approach to Ghalegaun-Ghanapokhara is a wonderful experience: the mists of the early mornings; the beautiful Khudi and Midim rivers; beautiful rhododendrons; and bird song simply immerses one in nature. The views from the village stretches from Buddha Himal, Himalchuli and Manaslu to the northeast Mt. Annapurna ‘ii’ and lamjung to the north and Mt. Machhapucchre and Annapurna South to the Northwest. The trail to the village of Bhujung is easy and there is lovely scenery and many beautiful Nepalese villages on the way. You will pass a large school which was built by tourists like you and hard working local people many years ago. That school is considered to be the light of Bhujung.
The 400 houses of Gurung community make up the very large settlement of Bhujung. The Home stay system is not available here but you can stay in one or two lodges are available. The meals system is the same as Ghalegaun. In the evening you have enough time to sing, dance and to have fun with local people and drink local wine. Overnight at Home Stay.
After breakfast, you say farewell to the local people and move on to your next destination. After a while you gradually climb down to the Bhujung Khola river where you turn left, crossing the bridge. On your gentle walk in farm land you can see a great view of a waterfall. Later you will find yourself in Jungle where you can hear the roaring and barking of wild animals which make your jungle safari very exciting. There are no tea houses on this trek so you will have a packed lunch to eat on the way. At the top of a hill where there is a good resting place. Fortunately this is the highest point of your trek (2500m).
From here you walk down and you will see many mountains and villages on the way. Pasgaun village is reminiscent of Ghalegaun. There are 60 beautiful houses in this village. The majority of the population is from the Gurung community. Overnight at Home Stay.
This is an adventurous day. You have lunch in Bagaiecha/ Garden where you can swim in the river and rest for a while. Passing through the beautiful villages, forests and amazing landscape you reach Rabidada where you can rest before continuing. The Gurung community in Pakhrikot will welcome you with warm smiles and garlands. Overnight at Home Stay.
This is your last day of trekking. After breakfast you walk to Thumbikot, just down the hill from Pakhrikot. After walking for nearly 3 hours you reach to Thumbikot from where you take a bus to Pokhara (3 hours). Overnight at Lodge.
From Thumsikot drive to Pokhara
Drive or fly back to Kathmandu.
