Bhotekoshi River Rafting is the beautiful for adventure trip with very steep and basically non-stop mountain river only 3 hours drives from Kathmandu offering two days of intense and challenging river activity. The Bhote Koshi means Tibetan River and actually this River originates in the plateau of Tibet. Tibet. Kathmandu-Lhasa highway follows the bank of Bhote Koshi River. You can run a day trip or do a two-day expedition and run parts of the river twice. It's a great beginner river for rafters and fun for kayakers at all levels.

Bhotekoshi River Rafting has upper sections of grade 5+ but most of commercially rafted sections are an overall grade of 4 with a couple or so harder rapids that warrant a 4+ or 5-. Bhote Koshi is the beautiful for adventure trip with very steep and basically non-stop mountain river only 3 hours drives from Kathmandu offering two days of intense and challenging river activity. You are beginning to understand what this great trip in Nepal offers you nothing less than the ride of a lifetime.

Day 1 : Arrival at Kathmandu

 Upon our arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, we will  be warmly greeted by a representative from Himalaya Trekking Team. After completion of our custom formalities (Visa, etc), we pick up our luggage and look for our representative with Himalaya Trekking Team Trekking display board   at the arrival gate. We will be then escorted to Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2 : Kathmandu sightseeing and Trip preparation

On this day, you may have time to explore the important places of Kathmandu city with a guide. Main highlights of the tour are UNESCO enlisted world heritage sites and other cultural and historical spots of Kathmandu city. Wander around the market and shop your necessary things. In the evening we have a short discussion for trip adventure and its preparation. You spend the night in a hotel.

Day 3 : Drive to Lamosangu

On this day, you will be driven to Lamosangu which is the put-in-point of Bhote Koshi River Rafting. The rafting begins at the Dam in Lamosangu. There, we will stay in a camp for the overnight. The free time can be used to explore the surrounding area.

Day 4 : Rafting to Dolalghat and drive to Kathmandu

On this day, Bhotekoshi River rafting team starts journey. The team includes well experienced guides and life guards. Experience adventurous rafting with some blood-freezing rapids and gorges throughout the river. We stay overnight camping in Dolalghat for exploring the area.

Day 5 : Drive back to Kathmandu and exploring the city

You will return back to Kathmandu by chartered vehicle in the afternoon. The natural scenes and landscape is interestingly picturesque to capture while coming back to Kathmandu. In Kathmandu, it is better to catch the moments to explore missed sites of the city. Shopping in the markets can be another best option before staying in the hotel at night.

Day 6 : Farewell Day

 you take the returning flight to your hometown. Our representatives will assist you to reach the airport. You return to your home with an unforgettable travel experience in Nepal.
