We were trekking with OB and 2 porters for 13 days and nights on the Annapurna Circuit. It was an unbelievably amazing experience that would not have been the same without OB and his team. The pace we walked at was perfect for us (late teenaged kids, parents in 50s) - fast enough to feel the exercise, yet slow enough to soak in every beautiful viewpoint. OB's gentle, kind, considerate personality is exactly the soothing presence you need after each day of walking. Feel so lucky to have befriended him - one of the truly loveliest people I've met. Definitely recommend him to anyone wanting a genuine, peaceful and wonderful guide and experience in the Himalayas that you'll never forget!

I did AC trekking last year with Uttam and he was really great guide that i ever had. He s friendly, honest, and has good knowledge about the area and took care of us very well that i have nothing to complaint. I would definitely contact with him again if i come back to Nepal.

I had been trekking in Nepal last year during the big earthquake ever in history. Our tourguide and porter took care of us very carefully and enthusiastic even their suffer bcoz of the earthquake is very heavy. We got a lot of unforgotable moments with them. Thanks for their support. They are a very gud team, gud choice for every one who want to trek in Himalayas ...

A great time in Annapurna trekking with nice, brilliant, careful and knowledge guiders. And Porters was a lovely and strong people. They controlled and was very professional on the way of trekking.
Especially they ll give their sweet smiles to U always:).
That why I wanna recommend OB, Uttam and 3 porters I ever met at Feb to anyone considering about trekking at Nepal in the near future.
From me, my life s meaningful more after trekking.

We did a trek starting in Chame and over the Thorang Lass pass to Mukhtinath. The team also supported us before and after the trek. It was fantastic. Our guide Jerry and porter Uujaal were very friendly and looked after us incredibly well. They made sure everything ran smoothly and that we were well fed, informed and comfortable. Jerry was very knowledgeable about the mountains and the area and nothing was too much trouble. All the accommodation was great and the transfers worked very well. I just loved the scenery – it was so spectacular – a trip of a lifetime. I’d like to thank everyone involved for giving me such precious memories.

....dann würde ich niemals jemand anderen nehmen für Trekking in der Region!
OB, Inhaber, Eigentümer und Seele von Himalaya Trekking Team, hat unsere 2 Trek´s in Kathmandu geplant und umgesetzt. Dank seiner sorgfältigen und liebevollen Planung hatten wir 2 unvergessliche Trips. Zum einen den sehr begehrten Rundweg von Lukla über Nasche Bazar bis hin zum Mt. Everest Base Camp und dann die Besteigung unseres ersten 6.000enders, den Dhaulagiri. Das war dann, anders als der erste Tripp auf viel begangenen Wegen eine Reise ins Ungewisse für uns. OB hat jeder Menge Träger und Ausrüstung besorgt, einen Koch, 2 Hilfsköche und alles, aber auch wirklich alles mit tragen lassen. Wir wurden versorgt wie die Könige! Kein Stress, keine Hektik, keine Pannen! Und das auch noch sensationell günstig!
Bis heute schwärme ich von diesen Reisen und das sie zu solch einem Erlebnis wurden, lag sicher zu einem erheblichen Teil an der guten Organisation und der freundlichen Unterstützung durch OB und sein Team!

"I had such a wonderful time with this company. I came to Nepal alone and was looked after from the minute I landed until I left. Everything went smoothly. My guide Uttam was very knowledgeable and I felt safe throughout the trip. He knew the best spots for incredible views and is such a lovely person. I couldn't fault the trip in any way and I am already looking to book another trip with them. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore the himalayas."

For our first himalaya trekking, Uttam and OB recommended us to do the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek. We really enjoyed the time, the trek was amazing and the view from the poon hill breathtaking. OB was a great guide, we had nice guesthouses and very good food. Thank you Himalaya Trekking Team :)

Before we don’t know we just our flight ticket to Nepal and later we planning to hike some place in Nepal and we contact with Himalaya Trekking Team and they offer us to visit in Poon Hill Trek wowo they organized so brilliant trip. I was so impressed with them to see their professional work and experience to organize very well our trip in Nepal.
They Provide us very best service and the place was so amazing the view from Poon Hill so beautiful. We just finished our Monsoon trek to Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek with Himalaya Trekking Team before we come to Nepal we worried about the weather but because of Himalaya Trekking Team well suggestions about the trip we feel so easy and successfully complete our 05 days trekking with this Company. It was a nice a pleasant trip with Himalaya trekking .. Mr Gurung our guide was very helpful and resourceful during the whole trip, two of our team members cannot walk down the hill, and they hired horses, mr Gurung was very patient follow them for the whole trip ! Thanks you! Overall the accommodation was good ! I strongly recommended them when anyone looking for a guide in Nepal trekking !

Nous avons passé 5 jours sur le trek de Poon Hill Avec Uttam qui s'est occupé de tout pour notre première expérience au Népal, s'adaptant très bien à notre rythme. Nous en avons Aussi pas mal appris sur la vie au Népal, il savait très bien où il allait et nous a même fait prendre des petits raccourcis sympa. Les hébergements choisi étaient bien et la nourriture super bonne ! Merci beaucoup!

I have just been on my second amazing trek with OB. He organised a wonderful trip to Mardi Himal for a group of 7, some of whom hadn't trekked before. The pace was excellent and the walk absolutely beautiful with sunrise over the Annapurna Range and Machapuchare. The porters were from OBs village and were very kind and fun to be with. Himalayan Trekking Team are a really caring family-run business. OBs daughter Manju met us in Kathmandu at the start of our trip and took us to our hotel. It is also really nice to support OB and others from their village in the Gorkha district since all of their houses were destroyed in last year's earthquake. They are so cheerful and positive it is amazing.

It's really wonderful time there in ABC trekking with Mr. Uttam and his team. Our trekking tour is so free and easy bacause tour guide and posters are so friendy, funny and support us very well. Schedule could be flexible following your needs and tour guideline advises. I will comeback to join EBC with him.

At first I have a lot of things to worry about, but as soon as I meet him (mr. Uttam) I worried no more and start enjoying the trip with friends! The support team was friendly, funny, kind and carring enough to make you feel safe and comfortabe but also have your own space and privacy, too! I think that’s genius.
Just a small thing to be consider about, I think if the trekking route spent us 1 more day in NBC, it’ll be a perfect trip ever!

This was my second trek with Himalaya Trekking Team and lovely guide OB.
We were a group of 7 and had 4 wonderful porters.
OB, Utam and their extended family, who make up most of the staff, continue to show us so much kindness and professionalism when organising our trek. We felt very safe in their hands.
OB is a very calm and relaxed guide with a good sense of humour and we all really enjoyed a game of Dumbar (Nepalese card game!) in the evening after our days walking.
The walk was stunning and it was so lovely to see lots of villages and meet such lovely hosts in the guest houses and home stays in both the Langtang Valley and Tamang Heritage Trail.
If you are looking for a kind, genuine, professional company with beautiful walks I would recommend the Himalaya Trekking Team in a heartbeat.
Thank you OB, Utam and everyone else for another amazing experience!

This was our second trek with OB our guide and the Himalaya Trekking Team. As we had experienced before, OB and Uttam were very professional, welcoming and organised. It was great to do this trek as a family group - and to also share it with OBs family - as with any family run business - everyone helps out. Langtang valley was beautiful and we saw lots of animals and birds. The accomodation was good and the food delicious. The Tamang trail was quite a contrast as we walked between villages - but equally as breathtaking - and much quieter. Thank you OB and Uttam for making this such a special trip - and we hope to see you for trek number 3 soon. Simon and Anya

This was our third trek organised by Himalaya Trekking Team and it is marvellous that they are doing so well 5 years after the earthquake. This was a lovely 10 day trek up to Langtang and around the Tamang Heritage trail. It was great to trek with OB again and to meet up with Uttam and other members of OBs family. The four porters were also very friendly and kind and it was lovely to get to know them over a game of cards in the evenings. Everything was brilliantly organised and we felt very safe. Thank you for a wonderful trip.

My girlfriend and I spent 10 days in the Langtang Valley. With it being my first proper trek I wasn't sure what to expect and was so impressed with the whole experience. OB and Uttam went out of their way to help us with absolutely everything we needed and OB was a great source of knowledge along the way. It was a privilege to have him as our guide. Santa, our porter was also so attentive and made the trekking a much more enjoyable experience. I can't recommend the Himalaya Trekking Team enough and will definitely use them again!

Had an amazing journey though Langtang Valley, end of Sept 2017. Himalaya trekking team members are like my family now, we went through the journey together, spent quality time and cared for each other. Mr Uttam is a very humble, knowledgeable and friendly guide to be with. The porters were so caring and compassionate. Every member of the team went extra miles to support the trekkers to ensure safe and enjoyable journey. I will not look elsewhere for trekking company in Nepal. I found the best and closest team to my heart. Next, preparing for EBS with Himalaya Trekking Team. For those who are planning or even thinking about trekking the Himalaya, don't hesitate to contact Mr. Uttam, he guided me from basic and today I can claim myself to have stepped on and received the blessings from Himalaya. We book to trek Everest base camp on 17 Sep 2016 but due to bad weather in Lukla flights were cancelled for 2 day and since we did not have much time we change our trek to Langtang. It was a 10 day trek guided by Uttam. Oud guide Uttam is a young man but very experience and alert in his job, Uttam is usually walk last in the group but thats is only for a few kilometres once he spot the weakest team member he walks behind the member like a shadow. He is quick to grab the member when he slips. ( I slip more then 10 times I am 57 years old) I would assure you that Himilayan trekking team with take care of you well and their staff are all well train by OB the GURU. best of luck to the team.

In autumn 2014 we did the Helambu-Langtang trekking followed by the Tamang Heritage Trail. Our guides were OB and Uttam and as a porter they organised Ram, a nephew of OB. So it was a sort of family trip. All of them were very friendly and competent.
It was the second time, we were trekking with OB and whenever we will go back to Nepal for trekking, we will pledge OB and Uttam again.

bon accueil à l'aéroport . Visite touristique de Katmandou bien adaptée pour 1j.
L'équipe d'himalaya trek bien présente est attentionnée pour les membres du groupe. Le guide Ramesh parle très bien français, connait les montagnes et a pu répondre à nos questions sur le pays. Avec son adjoint, il encadre efficacement . Porteurs souriants et sympathiques. On passe des vallées tropicales habitées par des paysans aux montagnes impressionnantes de plus de 8000m. Superbe temps pour les 4 jours de montagne . Col à plus de 5000 progressif. Choix de plats libre dans les lodges. Confort correct,mais l'isolation est à revoir dans les lodges.
