01: Reservation Deposit
A deposit of 25% of the total value of the package per person is required upon booking

03: Payment of the Balance
The payment for the outstanding balance for your vacation is due five weeks before your departure. If you decide to settle your vacation balance by master card a handling cost of 3.5% on the outstanding balance is added to the total. There’s no handling cost for payment by cheque or bank transfer. We reserve the right to cancel your trip if the full amount is not paid in time.
04: Cancellation by You:
The scale of cancellation charges detailed below is calculated according to the number of days prior to departure.
05: Cancellation by Us:
A full refund of tour value will be remitted to you, should there be any cancellation due to insufficiency of group members or other unforeseen circumstances. We may be obliged to cancel your holiday for reasons like war, riots, civil disturbances, strikes, natural disasters, terrorist activities or threat of such and closure of airport. Under such circumstance, we will advise you as soon as possible if we can offer you an alternative holiday of comparable standard or make a prompt full refund of all money paid less reasonable expenses. However, we can be under no other liability to you in such cases.
06: Refund of Deposit
No refund will be made of your 25% deposit except in case of cancellation of your trip by us under clause 05.
07: Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is your responsibility and should be taken out by you prior to your tour. You should consider and be responsible for medical, helicopter evacuation, personal accident, natural calamity etc.
08: Incomplete Tour
We can’t refund any money if you do not complete your trip because of your own personal reasons. However, if you are not able to complete the trip because of action by the Himalaya Trekking Team then you will receive a pro rata refund.
09: Additional Charge
The proposed package trek and tour is based on a twin sharing basis. A single supplement is payable if you do not wish to share.
Your papers and documents related to your visit are your responsibility. On the tour if you are prevented from continuing as a result of your personal documents not being in order, or missing Himalaya Trekking Team will not take responsibility. Unless otherwise agreed the responsibility for obtaining visas and passes are your responsibility.
11: Tour Prices
Himalaya Trekking Team reserves the right to revise pricing rate due to unavoidable circumstances or the pressure of external factors that are beyond our control, for instance changes in exchange rates, increase in airfares and other transport costs, hotel rates and government taxes etc.
12: Personal possessions
Himalaya Trekking Team is not answerable for any loss or damage to your luggage or any property belonging to you even when carried by porters, ponies or vehicles. That means your personal possessions and luggage are at your risk at all times.
You agree to act courteously and legally at all times on the tour. However, if you commit any unnecessary, disruptive or unlawful act during the tour you will be compelled to leave the tour at that time and no refund will be made in such cases.
14: Safety and Responsibility
Fulfilling your desire of traveling in safety is the primary concern of Himalaya Trekking Team. Our trekking company and the whole representative team will make our best effort honestly and sincerely on your behalf. However, the process might effected by inherent and hidden circumstances, whether, landslides, flood, road blockage, flight delays or cancellations, which can create negative thinking. But if your tour is compromised in this way please try to adjust to the new situation as well as to increased accommodation and food costs which you should bear yourself.
If you are trekking in remote areas , especially during the low season, you’re highly advised to reserve extra days in case of delays.
15: Flight delay
Flights by plane and helicopter are prone to cancellations and delays as a result of notorious weather in remote areas and occasional operational complications especially in the Everest region, Lukla flight, Annapurna region, Jomsom flight, Dolpa, Simikot and Jumla region etc. When these flights are included in the itinerary, we recommend you carry extra money to buy food and accommodation in case of delays. Himalaya Trekking Team will not be responsible for these additional expenses or costs incurred from lost connections, so plan accordingly.
