Hello and welcome to the Himalaya Trekking Team! We are a highly experienced, professional and friendly family-run agency, established in 2010. Our honest and thoughtful approach has created many happy trekkers, lots of whom return to trek with us again. One such regular client is Terry Robinson from Canberra, Australia. Terry and his partner Gail have trekked with us a number of times and are more than happy to highly recommend us. Terry can be contacted by email here: email@example.com All of the team members are very familiar with the nature and culture of Nepal. We strive to instil respect for our country and its sacred mountains. We take pride in doing our part to preserve its natural beauty; the way of life of its people and its rich cultural heritage. We would like to introduce ourselves as one of the leading family-run trekking companies in Nepal.
The Himalaya Trekking Team is dedicated to providing excellent and personalized service. Together with you, we carefully plan and supply all the information necessary for your safety, comfort and enjoyment. The rich cultural spirit, the unique blend of Buddhism and Hinduism; the birth place of Lord Gautam Buddha; the home of Mount Everest; the mighty rivers and the World Heritage sights. This is our country, and it has something for everyone. We will give you an excellent opportunity to explore our beautiful Nepal.
The porters we employ mainly come from our home village of Baluwatar in the Ghorka district of Nepal, which was completely destroyed in the 2015 earthquake. By booking with us you are not only getting an experienced and professional team, you are also providing work, which is crucial in helping us rebuild our lives and regain the self-respect which was lost when we had to rely on charitable donations.
We can organize any type of tour or trek; ranging from accommodation in fully serviced tea houses, serviced camping, and trekking to the peaks of Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan and India.
